Tyrone's watch: The Watch is working - Facelift for Surbiton Road, Ensom Avenue

WHAT'S FINALLY WORKING? Well, the authorities have put their shoulder to the wheel in response to two recently published instalments of Tyrone's Watch and have addressed the highlighted problems. Feast on your applause! SYNOPSIS OF THE SITUATION Residents and commuters who utilise Surbiton Road in St Andrew and Ensom Avenue in St Catherine no longer have to zigzag around the potholes that had consumed both thoroughfares when Tyrone's Watch first visited the areas. Why? Simple. The craters are no more, thanks to the National Works Agency and the St Catherine Parish Council. Conclusion Once again, hats off to the authorities for stepping up and addressing the issues that warranted their rapid response. Hopefully, Surbiton Road and Ensom Avenue will be a launching pad for repairs across the country, as many of Jamaica's roads are in a mess. And, if your community is yet to be visited by the authorities, give Tyrone's Watch a holler. Keep heart, there seems to be hope. On the other hand, if your problem which had been featured by Tyrone's Watch has been rectified, do let us know.
