Newly Constructed Bridge at Steer Town, St. Ann to be temporarily opened to vehicular traffic

Effective Monday May 10 vehicular traffic will start using the newly constructed Steer Town Bridge in St. Ann. The bridge which is being constructed under Phase Three of the RA Murray Bridge Programme will be temporarily opened to facilitate drainage works associated with the structure.
 
The National Works Agency (NWA) says that that other works relating to the bridge will also be ongoing. This includes the completion of the approach roads and the re-alignment of the roadway to match the new structure. These works are expected to be completed in the next few months.
 
Motorists are being asked to exercise caution while using this thoroughfare and to adhere to posted warning signs.
