Background
The Green Park to St. Ann’s Bay main has been the site of several major breakaways which resulted from heavy rains affecting the island overtime. These became worse during the December 2009/January 2010 rains, thus there was an urgent need to address three of the most critical areas.
Contract and Scope of Works
A contract in the sum of J$9.875 million was awarded to New Ideas General Construction Company Limited to construct a Gabion Retaining Walls at the location in Lime Hall, St. Ann.
