The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists who use the Bartons to Woodhall Main Road in West Central St. Catherine that come tomorrow, they are to expect delays when approaching the section of the roadway at Spring Hill. Communication and Customer Services Manager at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, explains that the Agency is scheduled to start drainage improvement and road widening works at the location tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, which will see traffic being reduced to single lane at times to accommodate the activities. He says the works, which form part of the $197 million Woodhall to Belfield Major Infrastructure Development Programme (MIDP) project, should be completed within the next month. The project itself is overall 80% complete and is scheduled to be delivered following the completion of the drainage improvement works at Spring Hill. Motorists are being reminded to obey the posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons during the period of works.
