The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that effective tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12, 2011, and continuing for a period of five (5) days, a section of Tom Redcam Drive, within the vicinity of the Arthur Wint Drive Intersection, in St. Andrew, will be reduced to single lane traffic. This to facilitate emergency repairs to a damaged grating.

Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, says the single lane system will be implemented along the Westbound Lane of Tom Redcam Drive, i.e. travelling from the direction of Cross Roads towards the Old Hope Road/Oxford Road Intersection.

Mr. Shaw says the manhole repair exercise to be carried out along Tom Redcam Drive is expected to be completed on Sunday, January 16, 2010. Full access to the roadway is expected on Monday, January 17, 2010.
The National Works Agency is advising motorists to proceed with caution while travelling along this corridor, and to obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs while works are in progress.
