The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that Red Hills Road in St. Andrew will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic between 9:00 p.m. on Friday January 28, 2011 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 30 2011.
The roadway will be closed in the vicinity of Henkel Jamaica Limited, located between Cassadene Avenue and Westminster Road and is to facilitate emergency repairs to a damaged grating.
The alternative route for motorists travelling from the direction of Half Way Tree along Red Hills Road towards Washington Boulevard is Westminster Road, Cassadene Avenue onto Red Hills Road. The reverse obtains travelling from the direction of Washington Boulevard along Red Hills Road towards Half Way Tree.
Motorists are advised to obey posted warning signs and the instruction of flag persons.
