The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising the motoring public that the eastbound lanes along the section of Spanish Town Road in the vicinity of the Six Miles Overpass will be reduced to single lane traffic intermittently tomorrow, Tuesday, February 26.

NWA’s Communication and Customer Services Manager, Stephen Shaw says the lane reduction is to facilitate asphalt overlay works along the carriageway between the Six Miles Overpass and Hardware and Lumber.

Mr. Shaw explains that starting around 9 a.m. motorists should anticipate delays when exiting the Mandela Highway onto Spanish Town Road using the overpass bridge.

Tomorrow’s activities are related to the ongoing Mandela Highway road improvement project and will create a smooth transition from the reconstructed roadway onto sections of Spanish Town Road and Washington Boulevard.
