VIEW MAP HERE: Effective Monday, December 10, 2018, the Constant Spring Road and Constant Spring Grove intersection will be closed to vehicular access. As a result, motorists will no longer be able to turn from Constant Spring Grove onto Constant Spring Road or from Constant Spring Road onto Constant Spring Grove, in the vicinity of Electrical Depot. The turning restriction is being implemented to facilitate ongoing road improvement works and to reduce vehicular conflicts along that section of the roadway. Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw explains that come Monday both left and right turns from Constant Spring Road on to Constant Spring Grove will be prohibited. He adds that while Constant Spring Grove will no longer accommodate through traffic, local traffic will be able to access the roadway from Mannings Hill Road. . Mr. Shaw says that access to Electrical Depot and other business establishments in that vicinity will be maintained, however, persons entering or leaving these locations will not be allowed to make a U-turn in either direction around the concrete median along that section of the roadway. Access to Constant Spring Terrace and Hillman Road will not be affected by the change. Resulting from the restriction, motorists travelling southbound along Constant Spring Road who wish to access Mannings Hill Road can use Saxthorpe Avenue or continue to Mary Brown’s Corner then on to Mannings Hill Road. Motorists are being reminded that Constant Spring Road is still an active construction zone and are being advised to exercise due caution while travelling along that roadway and to obey the instructions of posted warning signs.
