Mabey and Johnson Bridge Programme

The Jamaica Priority Rural Bridge Programme (JPRBP), Mabey and Johnson Limited initiative is a loan agreement secured in May 2003, by the GOJ, for twenty two million, eight hundred thousand pounds (£22,800,000) to supply and construct bridges island-wide.

There are forty-five (45) sites earmarked for bridge rehabilitation and or replacement under the current JPRBP programme. Under this agreement, Mabey and Johnson will work along with the Technical Services Department of the NWA for the development and design of these projects. Mabey & Johnson will procure material and deliver the manufactured structures to the Agency and provide technical support during the construction phase of the projects at the various sites.
