Closure of Manning's Hill road in St. Andrew

The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that Manning’s Hill Road in St. Andrew will be closed on Sunday, January 16, 2011, between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.

This closure of the roadway is to facilitate completion of Micro Surfacing works which is now in progress.

All roadways leading onto or from Manning’s Hill Road will be inaccessible for the duration of the repair works on Sunday. The roadways are Saxthorpe Avenue, Constant Spring Grove and Cassava Piece, roads that connect Constant Spring Road to Manning’s Hill Road.

Motorists will also be prevented from accessing Manning’s Hill Road from Border Avenue, Roehampton Drive, Rochester Avenue, Lawrence Avenue, Sullivan Avenue and Merridale Avenue.

Motorists are advised to obey posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons and not attempt to access Manning’s Hill Road from any of these roadways while work is in progress.
