Flat Bridge along the Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine is now Impassable

The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Flat Bridge located along the Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine is now impassable. A Trailer partially overturned and is now blocking the bridge.

Arrangements have been made to remove the Trailer and clear the bridge.

The alternative route for motorists travelling from the direction of Bog Walk towards Kingston is Sligoville or Barry. Motorists’ travelling from the direction of Spanish Town towards Bog Walk should use the alternative route via Kitson Town and Barry. Motorists’ travelling from the direction of Kingston towards Bog Walk are advised to use the alternative route Red Hills via Rock Hall.

The NWA is also advising motorists not to attempt to use the Flat Bridge until they are advised to do so.
