The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that the improvement works to the detour road located in the vicinity of the construction site of the new Dry River Bridge in Harbour View, St. Andrew, are scheduled to commence tomorrow, Wednesday, November 10, 2010.
The works to be undertaken include scarifying the road surface, laying and compacting of base course material and paving of the roadway with Asphaltic Concrete, and are scheduled for completion on the weekend of November 12, 2010.
These works were previously scheduled to commence on November 1, 2010 but were postponed due to the threat of Tropical Storm Tomas.
The NWA is advising motorists to proceed with caution and to obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs.
