The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that a section of the Johns Hall main road in St. James has been reduced to single lane traffic. The affected section of roadway is in the vicinity of the quarry in Johns Hall.

According to the NWA this section of roadway was severely eroded following the flood rains the area experienced over the week end.

The NWA is advising that only small units will be allowed to use this roadway until the necessary repairs have been completed.

Drivers of large units who wish to travel into Johns Hall from the direction of Maroon Town should travel through Welcome Hall and then onto Mt. Horeb. Motorists may also turn right at John’s Hall and go through Sunderland and onto Amity Hall. Motorists traveling from the Fairfield direction into Johns Hall should travel through the community of Sign, St. James.

The NWA is advising motorists are to obey the posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
