The National Works Agency is advising that effective this weekend, movement through two major intersections along the North Coast Highway will be controlled by electronic signals.

Manager of Communications and Customer Services at the National Works Agency, Stephen Shaw says, as of this Sunday the intersection at the entrance to the Ritz Carlton Hotel along the Rose Hall main road in St. James and the White River/Exchange main road junction in St. Ann will be signalized.

Mr. Shaw says the decision to signalize these locations is to facilitate safer and easier entrance and exit to the highway. He says plans are being finalized to have another two intersections along the Montego Bay to Rose Hall corridor signalized within the next month. These are the Providence and Sugar Mill Road intersections.
