NWA Adivising Motorists, Pedestrians to Proceed with Caution along Harbour View Main road

The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising members of the public to exercise caution along the Harbour View main road in St. Andrew over the next two weeks.

The advice comes against the background of planned activities to be undertaken along the stretch in preparation for the construction of a US$8.9 million bridge in the community. The new bridge is to replace the existing Dry River Bridge, which was damaged during the passage of Tropical Storm Gustav in August 2008.

Motorists and pedestrians should proceed with caution along this section of the roadway and look out for workmen while work is in progress.
