The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists to expect traffic delays along Dunrobin Avenue this weekend, as the Agency will be undertaking works along the corridor on Saturday and Sunday (February 7 and 8) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on both days.

The NWA says it will be demolishing boundary walls between the Constant Spring Road/Dunrobin Avenue Intersection and the Red Hills Road Overpass. These works form part of the Agency’s plans to dualize the Dunrobin Avenue/Washington Boulevard corridor.

According to the NWA, the demolition exercise to be undertaken over this weekend will see six (6) boundary walls being taken down. This it says represents the penultimate phase of a project to remove a total of thirty-seven (37) boundary walls along Dunrobin Avenue in order to facilitate widening of the corridor.

Motorists are being advised to proceed with caution and obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs along Dunrobin Avenue this weekend.
