The National Works Agency is advising motorists that the Harbour View Bridge, adjacent to the Donald Quarrie High School will be closed to vehicular traffic this Wednesday, September 17, between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Chief Executive Officer of the National Works Agency, Milton Hodelin says the closure of the roadway is to facilitate paving of the approach roads to the newly installed Bailey Bridge.
The temporary bridge which has a 10 ton limit was erected following the damage to the permanent structure by flood waters associated with Tropical Storm Gustav.
Motorists are advised to obey the posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
