Effective immediately, the Richmond to Rose Hill main road in St. Mary is closed to all vehicular traffic. The roadway has been closed in the community of Barracks River, due to a breakaway that has worsened, resulting from heavy rains over the last two days.
Operators of small vehicles traveling to the communities of Flint River and Rose Hill are being advised to use the route from Zion Hill to Marlborough through Rock Spring to Essic and on to Flint River. The reverse obtains for small vehicles traveling from Flint River to Richmond.
