The National Works Agency (NWA) will next week commence a seven million dollar road patching programme in north eastern St. Elizabeth. The programme gets underway next Monday with plans to target several roadways. It is expected that the condition of several road sections in the parish will be improved.

Some 3, 000 square metres of roadway is being targeted for patching. Among the corridors selected for patching are Marlboro School Road in Balaclava, Windsor Parish Council Road in Siloah and the Good Hope Road near to Santa Cruz.

This patching exercise is expected to be completed within four weeks and is being funded through the Constituency Development Fund.

The NWA will be executing this project through one of its Force Account Teams. Motorists who travel along these corridors are advised to obey posted warning signs and the instruction of flag persons.
