The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that two sections of the Johns Hall roadway in St. James have been closed to vehicular traffic with immediate effect. These are the Worcester (Wooster) Bridge and the area in the vicinity of the quarry at Johns Hall.
According to the NWA, these sections of the roadway have been severely eroded following the recent flood rains.
Motorists who wish to travel into Montego Bay from the Johns Hall direction may travel via Sunderland; on to Guilsbro; turn left at Sign and then proceed to Westgate.
The reverse obtains for motorists travelling from the direction of Fairfield towards Johns Hall.
