Sea Castle's Traffic Signal out of Service

The National Works Agency is advising motorists that the Traffic Signals located at Sea Castle’s, in the community of Barrett Hall, along the North Coast Highway is now out of service. This is as a result of a traffic accident which occurred two days ago. The traffic control equipment, including Mast Arms, cabinet components and timer were destroyed.

The damage is estimated at one point five million dollars ($1.5 million).

The NWA has dispatched Officers from the Agency’s Traffic Unit who are now at the location, working to put in place temporary measures. The National Works Agency is in the meantime advising motorists who use this roadway to proceed with extreme caution during this period. The Agency is also advising motorists that the intersection should be used as a Four-Way Stop until normalcy is restored.
