The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Free Town to Four Paths main road, Clarendon, in the vicinity of ‘Rasta Gully’ will be reduced to single lane use, this Sunday, August 23, 2009 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
This reduction of the roadway to single lane use is to facilitate repair works along this section of the corridor.
The NWA is also advising motorists that the roadway at the junction of De Carteret and Villa Roads in Mandeville, will be closed this Tuesday, August 25, 2009 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Closure of the roadway is to facilitate the laying of culverts.
The alternative route travelling from the direction of Northern Caribbean University towards Mandeville Town Centre is De Carteret Road, left at De Carteret College onto Wesley Road onto Wesley Avenue onto Villa Road then onto De Carteret Road. The reverse obtains for motorists travelling in the opposite direction.
