The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Benson Ford in Norbrook, St. Andrew, will be closed this Saturday and Sunday, February 14 and 15. Closure of the roadway is to facilitate re-construction of the Ford.
The alternative route for motorists travelling towards Upper Norbrook and Norbrook Heights is Olivier Road onto Norbrook Road, then onto Norbrook Drive. The reverse obtains for motorists traveling towards communities along Shortwood Road or Constant Spring Road.
The NWA is advising motorists to obey posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons during the period of closure.
