The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine, will be closed this Friday and Saturday (February 6 and 7) between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on both nights.
The NWA says the temporary closure of the Bog Walk Gorge is being done to facilitate the transportation of Extra Long and Extra Wide Cargo across the Gorge, by Bouygues Construction Company.
The NWA advises that the alternative routes during the period of closure are the Sligoville Main Road or through Barry.
The National Works Agency apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.
