The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Buff Bay to Balcarres main road in western Portland will be closed on Wednesday, February 18. The roadway will be closed between Mile Post 39 and 40, in the vicinity of the Charles Town Primary School, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The two hour closure is to facilitate the laying of drainage pipes across the roadway.
There is no alternate route. Motorists should therefore note the period of closure and obey the instructions of flag persons.
