The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that King Street in downtown Kingston, between Harbour Street and Ocean Boulevard, will be closed temporarily, between 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2010 and 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2010.
Closure is to facilitate works to raise manhole covers, frames and drainage repairs.
The NWA is asking motorists and other persons who have to undertake activities in the Kingston Business District to use alternative routes such as Orange Street or Church Street, during this period.
They are also advised to obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs.
