The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Mandeville to Rudd’s Corner (Manchester Road), in Manchester, will be closed this Sunday, July 19, 2009, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The roadway will be closed in the vicinity of the Church Teacher’s College in order to facilitate the replacement of culverts.
Alternative routes during the period of closure, travelling from the direction of Newport towards Mandeville Square are, Manchester Road, Grove Road, Perth Road, Caledonia Road then onto Mandeville. Motorists may also use the route from Manchester Road to Wesley Road, Newleigh Boulevard onto Newleigh Road.
Motorists are advised to obey the instructions of flag persons and posted directional signs.
