Some say that it is as bad in other areas, but in the Cherry Gardens area where I have lived for a number of years, it is the longest time I can remember the roads being in such serious disrepair, even treacherous to the irregular user in some areas.
Property taxes are perhaps among the highest in the country. Consequently, we should not have to endure such terrible inconvenience for so long, hurricane or no hurricane. Road maintenance is a simple aspect of national development.
If this is being managed with such incompetence, it should be of great concern to us what is happening in the other critical areas of management.
